Late night study
Can't sleep. Decided to do a study using a Loomis piece. Took a little over an hour or so. Hum... now I am really awake...

wonderful! i love this blocky style of painting, definitely has a loomis feel. left eye looks like its travelling a little. you've reminded me to do some more painting studies!
p.s i forgot to mention, i reeallly love the washy background with the hint of bright blue, so much fun to look at
Agent ouchie - Thanks for the kind words. I completely agree about the eyes. After seeing it on the following morning, there are a few things that I would like to change as well. Nothing works like a fresh reality check in the morning, not even Starbucks coffee. *smile*
