hmm the values dont really work for me yet. I think mostly because the values dont work in the sketch either... I have trouble distinguishing middle ground from background and near-middle ground. if that's the size of a tank (which doesnt read as a tank immediately, and it should) then the soldier (behind what I think are rocks) should feel a lot further away from the sasquatch (is it a sasquatch?) I think one way to do it is to reduce the size of the sasquatch/tank and lighten them about 4 steps in value (easily justifiable because its in a snow setting). also its hard to get a feeling of a ground plane, i cant tell where the characters are in space in relation to each other..
Stan - Maybe I should have Hulk vs Panda instead. By the way, Chinese army would wear the Shaolin monk outfit and shoot fireballs.
Main Loop - Yeah, the value is a mess still. Haven't dealt with the soldiers in the midground and backgroud yet. Probably will have one falling from the tank and use it to indicate scale. I have adjusted the shape of the snow and hope that help to indicate the ground plane a bit more. Also, need to adjust the upside down car as well. Not sure what the creature is. Just some angry hairy dude wanting to smash stuff.
